About

Rachel has been practicing family law for 26 years.  She is a trained arbitrator and mediator with certifications in civil, divorce, domestic violence, delinquency, and dependency mediation.  Rachel serves as a guardian ad litem (representing the best interest of children in Superior and Juvenile Court), as well as a child advocate for dependent (abused and neglected) children in Juvenile court.

Rachel's has handled cases throughout the metropolitan Georgia area.  Over her more than two and half decades of practice, she  has litigated, mediated, and assisted clients in resolving cases in Fulton, DeKalb, Gwinnett, Cobb, Cherokee, Pickens, Lumpkin, Douglas, Hall, Fayette, Clayton and other Georgia counties.

Rachel is a zealous advocate for her clients and while always prepared to litigate even the toughest of custody cases, she is a firm believer in the benefits of resolving cases (when both parties are able and willing to be reasonable) through any number of alternate dispute resolution processes, e.g. negotiation, mediation, late case evaluation, and judicially hosted settlement conferences.

Rachel has written numerous legal articles over the years, some of which can be accessed by clicking on "Blog" on the home page of this website.
